Your Junior Captain will take the left-hand seat of one of our full-size 1:1 scale flight simulators for a 30 minute session, with one of our real pilots right beside them. Choose the aircraft when you book your session via the Schedule Your Visit link: our Boeing 737-800 NG – flown by airlines across the UK and Europe – or our Airbus A320 – flown by airlines such as British Airways & easyJet. With a little help from their captain, they will line up on the runway, push the thrust levers forward, take off, fly over the scenery and bring the aircraft in to land.

What Makes Our Experiences Special?
- All experiences through The Flight Experience are run by current real world pilots - something very unique to our centre.
- We are the highest rated flight simulator experience in the North of England on TripAdvisor - awarded the 2026 Travellers’ Choice award.
- Your visit is truly centred around you. You will be the only experience visitors in the centre at that time, so our focus is solely on your young pilot.
- We have a large viewing area directly behind the simulator, so mums, dads, grandparents, brothers and sisters can all watch & cheer them on at no extra cost.
Please note each person using the simulator is required to have a valid voucher. You cannot split vouchers across numerous participants.
